More Copper Rabbits

One eared bunnies are becoming more common, maybe. Well, I'd like to think so. In my world they are cousins to the cyclopean bunnies.

I really really want to see your paintings in real!! Is the colour very different in real? I love the way you use light in your paintings, the glasses and the nosetip of the bunny in the background. I also like his face.
Bye!

Tomorrow I want to go to the school of my oldest son where they can saw my copper plate in the different sizes I want to have.
And then I can start with the preparation of it.

I have been following your blog and work for a wile... I must say that I simply adore your characters and their world (... I love the glasses!!!). This takes me back to Bosch imaginary world but with something more mechanical and a different dark side... congratulations!

Bill, I had the pleasure of seeing your work at the Basement Gallery last night. They are even more amazing in person. I was amazed at the detail and how small they actually were. Do you use a magnifing glass while you paint them? :) I had hoped to run into you but wasn't sure if you were there and it was pretty crowded. Beautiful work.

Thank you all. I was there last night. There were a lot of people at times and I didn't get to talk to everyone I would have liked to. Next time look for the round head of a caucasian asian guy and it's probably me. I usually stand in my place by the doorway to the back rooms. I don't use a magnifying glass. I think if it ever came to that I would just work larger.

That's why I asked you to post some photos so I get a better idea of the size of your work.

Don't you ever have a show in europe? :)

I'll try to get photos this week. I will have a few pieces up in a gallery in East Sussex, UK. It will be in January. Get someone to ask me and I'll be happy to show in Europe. I've done some illustration work there but now shows yet.
